Made with almond flour and sugar, realistically coloured with vegetable dyes, they probably were invented by the nuns of the Monastero della Martorana in Palermo. The story says that they decorated empty fruit trees with marzipan fruit to impress an archbishop visiting at Easter. This workshop, held in our chef apartment or in one of the best "pasticceria" of Palermo, will last approx. 6 hour (3 hour per day). Rates depend on the number of people attending.
